Le matériel de campagne des 6 pays partenaires et les créations de l’artiste Marian van Der Zwaan (partenaires, affiches, annonces, histoires des personnes prostituées, messages et réactions filmées du public, film final) sont disponibles sur le site dédié au projet ‘A Penny for your Thoughts’.

 

 

 

Allô ? Stella ? Stella n’est plus joignable. Accompagnée d’un numéro de téléphone, la silhouette suggestive que la Fondation Scelles a affichée sur les murs de Paris dans le quartier de Belleville, est celle d’une jeune Bulgare de 19 ans, morte de 23 coups de couteau, alors qu’elle était prostituée par un réseau de traite des êtres humains en France. En participant à la campagne européenne de sensibilisation à l’exploitation sexuelle ‘A Penny for your Thoughts’ (‘A quoi pensez-vous?’) dans le cadre de la Journée européenne contre la traite des êtres humains, la Fondation Scelles, ONG française qui lutte contre l’exploitation sexuelle, entend dénoncer la réalité violente de la prostitution sous toutes ses formes et lutter contre ce commerce meurtrier.

    The Scelles Foundation is part of “Manhattan Murals for Freedom” against Child Sex Trafficking and Labor,
    organized by Street Art for Mankind with the French Permanent Mission to the UN.

     

    “Manhattan Murals for Freedom” is a multidimensional artistic and digital concept with paintings, app, public march, interactive exhibition, olfactory experience, involving survivors, artists, public and private partners, institutional representatives, schools, and general public, to denounce and combat sex trafficking and labor of children.


    17 famous street artists from all over the world will create unique wall paintings, based on the true stories of child victims. The replicas will be exposed with more arts work at the UN during the “UN-JI” Exhibition.

    STREET POWERFULL PAINTINGS AN AUGMENTED REALITY APP AN APPOINTEMENT WITH ARTISTS

    EXHIBITION IN THE UN

    CALENDAR

     

    1. STREET POWERFUL PAINTINGS

    The artists will be painting children stories on murals of the Lower Manhattan, to spread the word. This will mark the official launch of SAM’s “Freedom Murals” across the world. They invite you to see the terrible conditions of children in this situation and provide us with a message of hope imagining for us what their lives should have been.


    The Scelles Foundation will have a mural painted by the street artist Victor Ash, about a victim of sex trafficking, Melanie Thompson.

     

     

    2. AN AUGMENTED REALITY APP TO DENOUNCE CHILD SLAVERY

    Every mural is associated to a free Augmented Reality app, “Behind The Wall” to enable you access to a richer content but also enjoy the walk with an audio guide.

    You will access with:

    • The story of Melanie Thompson
    • Key data on sex trafficking
    • Ways people can help & act locally: people to contact, human trafficking hotline, etc.
    • The Scelles Foundation information and others sponsors
    • The career path of Victor Ash and of the 16 others artists

    3. MEET NAD GREET WITH PROMINENT ARTISTS

    financial district manhattan   The street event launch will be organized in South of Manhattan in the Financial District, where you will walked and stopped to look each wall featuring an inspiring painting of a child, as a tribute to an unknown hero, a child who survived sex trafficking or forced labor around the world.


    Join the Scelles Foundation and the artist Victor Ash near to 25 Bridge St. (White Horse Tavern), during the week end 10th to 11th November.


    You will access information on the reality of sex trafficking and the Scelles Foundation’s actions to combat sexual exploitation.

     

     

    4. AN INTERACTIVE AND POLYSENSORIAL EXHIBITION IN THE UN

     

    The “Manhattan Murals for Freedom” replicas will be at the center of the “UN-JI” Exhibition at the United Nations headquarters and thanks to technology, you will access remotely the same content and audio guide as the one available from the street murals.

    The interactive and olfactory exhibition will immerse you in a “Street Art Jungle” where you will have to find your path to become a change maker. Through the journey, you will discover 30 street art paintings made by 17 prominent street artists from all around the world, and unlock clues using your senses and the augmented reality app "Behind The Wall". This immersive journey might change your vision of sex trafficking and labor of children.

    SAM organizes its second awareness-raising campaign to combat sex trafficking and labor of children in partnership with the French Mission to the UN. Read more
