In an effort to educate the public about the realities of child sex trafficking and labor, and activate art and public spaces in the spirit of its eradication in NY, the US and across the world, the local and international community will be part of the 2 mile street art walk in Lower Manhattan.

This is a unique opportunity to march for children rights with inspiring change-makers, discover murals depicting true stories from survivors of child trafficking, and experience an innovative Street Art walk in the streets of NYC with the augmented reality app “Behind The Wall”.

Speakers include Melanie Thompson-Survivor, Loic Ercolessi-Artist, Argentinian Ambassador to the UN-Martin Garcia Moritan, New York Deputy Director of the ILO-Vinicius Pinheiro, ENDGBV Commissioner-Cecile Noel, ACS Executive Director-Selina and more to be announced.

A Reception at the Andaz Hotel will immediately follow the walkto meet and greet with artists, survivors, activists, officials and diplomats.

Street Art for Mankind, which organizes this historical event, aims at inspiring people through art to open their eyes on the reality of child slavery and to be the change we want to see in the world !
